NIHR Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative Launch event

NIHR Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative Launch event will be on 25th April 2018 at Homerton College in Cambridge.

Following on from five successful years of the NIHR Brain Injury Healthcare Technology Co-operative (HTC), we are happy to announce the commencement of the NIHR Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative.

We will continue to support innovation and working closely with patients, the public, charities, academics, clinicians and industry to develop medical devices and healthcare technologies for patients who suffer from brain injury.

We will share with you what we have learnt in the past five years and some new technologies available for patients, as well as the priorities we will commit to in order to facilitate innovation in the MedTech sector.

The NIHR Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative (MIC) is delivered in partnership between Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and University of Cambridge.

The MIC is dedicated to identifying areas of unmet need susceptible to a technology-based solution amongst patients of all ages with brain injury.

The NIHR Brain Injury MIC works with patients, clinician and academics to provide a ‘go-to’ centre of expertise for understanding the market, regulatory and funding landscape for technological innovation within the brain injury patient pathway.  Further details
